"This is a magical place. Most incredible sunsets, lovely great room. Interesting artwork. Unusual building layout. Stunning property with easy access to the most beautiful water full of vibrant sea life that we lost ourselves in for hours. Brenda and Tom are very nice and helpful. They offered lots of excellent suggestions. The only negative is that the property needs TLC, but the hosts are definitely working on improvements. It’s a large sprawling property with much to be done for upkeep. We took advantage of the boat to explore the Pink Sand Beaches and Harbor Island. There were some issues with the boat in the end, but we did get to use it for the adventures we were most excited about. The spectacular Glass Window Bridge is minutes away. Whale’s Point is a short walk down the road and worth the effort. Gregory Town is not far and has restaurants with and grocery stores. In most places, do be prepared to wait for your food, which is delicious, but it’s “island time”! When I booked Baycienda, I didn’t realize just how many turtles we would see. They’re right THERE! I also suggest taking a boat tour to Pig Island and the stunning sand bars.We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Locals say “Eleuthera is not for everyone” but I’ll say it IS for us! "
